Academic Background
My academic journey began in the field of Science and Technology, having completed secondary education with a final average grade of 14 out of 20, between Loulé Secondary School (10th grade) and Pinheiro e Rosa Secondary School in Faro (11th and 12th grades).
I pursued my studies in Civil Engineering at UAlg between 2010 and 2014, where I developed structured, analytical thinking oriented towards solving complex problems — skills that remain central to my professional practice, although the final year of the program was not completed.
My transition to Law took place in 2019, with my enrollment in the Law Degree program at the University Center of the Lusófona University of Porto, which I completed in 2023 with a final average grade of 16 out of 20.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, having completed the first year with an average grade of 17.1 and am currently completing my dissertation.
Extracurricular
My name is Alexa Young
In 2020, I was invited to join the A3ES evaluation group, as part of the evaluation and monitoring process of the Law Course at the University Center of the Lusófona University of Porto, participating in the analysis and improvement of the pedagogical and academic quality of the training provided.
In parallel, I served as Class Representative during the four years of my academic training, assuming a role of student representation, institutional coordination, and close monitoring of the needs and interests of my colleagues.
Between March 2022 and September 2022, I was also part of the Law Students' Association at the Lusófona University of Porto, in the Communication Department, collaborating in the dissemination of academic initiatives, the organization of activities, and the promotion of interaction between students and the academic community.
As part of my legal specialization, I attended the Postgraduate Program in Digital Evidence in Civil Procedure, at CIDP — Center for Private Law Research, where I strengthened my knowledge in an area that is particularly relevant in the contemporary legal context.
In parallel, I joined a research team at CIDP dedicated to studying gender equality within the judiciary, reinforcing my academic and scientific involvement.
I also worked as a tutor in Civil Procedural Law between 2023 and 2024, consolidating my technical expertise and ability to communicate legally.
In 2026, I supplemented my training with studies in registries and notarial services, expanding my technical preparation in areas related to legal practice.

Career Path in Law
I began my career in law through an legal traineeship with the Portuguese Bar Association, in the Faro Regional Center, between 2023 and 2024.
During this period, I joined the OGPS firm as a Trainee Lawyer, where I had the opportunity to work with different areas of law, develop procedural skills, and assist clients in real-world settings.
Until mid-2025, I collaborated with HPS, deepening my experience in a structured professional environment and consolidating skills in legal practice.
At the end of 2025, I started my individual practice, opening my own office in 2026, establishing a practice based on proximity, rigor and responsibility.
Business Experience
Alongside my academic and legal studies, I have developed an ongoing entrepreneurial activity since 2012, initially in the digital sector.
I founded and managed projects in the clothing sector, with a presence in Matosinhos (2014–2022), Loulé (2015–2025) and Lisbon (2019–2020). Throughout this journey, I was involved in all aspects of the business, including brand creation and development, product design, production, marketing and digital strategy.
I also assumed responsibilities in team management, having coordinated up to 8 employees, as well as in strategic decision-making in competitive and demanding contexts.
This career path involved direct and continuous contact with suppliers, business partners, clients, and landlords, requiring a high capacity for negotiation, conflict management, and decision-making in complex and often sensitive situations.
In 2022, I also started working in the short-term rental sector, strengthening my contact with various legal, contractual and operational frameworks.

Professional Approach
My legal practice is based on a combination of technical precision, strategic thinking, and a practical understanding of thecontexts in which legal issues emerge.
The experience I've gained outside the legal field allows me to approach each case with a unique perspective, focused not only on the legal aspects of each case but also on identifying effective, sustainable solutions tailored to each client's specific needs.

Commitment
I practice law with a clear commitment: to offer dedicated, rigorous and transparent legal support, ensuring that each client understands their case and has confidence in the solutions presented.
I believe in a results-oriented practice, where high standards, accountability, and clarity are fundamental principles.

Personal Note
From an early age I showed a natural inclination towards organization, creation, and structuring of ideas. As a child, I dedicated myself to writing, drawing, and mathematics, and intuitively sought to create structured environments in my own play.
My dolls often took on the roles of clients or were part of small "businesses" that I myself devised — an early sign of my natural tendency to structure, manage and solve situations, which is now reflected in a mature way in my professional practice.
My career path reflects a solid and deliberate journey, marked by a combination of academic rigor, business experience and a strategic approach to law.
